6. Content Ownership and Licensing

6.1 User-Generated Content

Users retain ownership of their original content while granting Real Estate Canada a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, modify, and distribute such content for platform purposes.

6.2 Platform Content

Platform-generated content remains the exclusive intellectual property of Real Estate Canada.

7. Limitation of Liability

Real Estate Canada shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Third-party transaction representations
  • Financial losses arising from platform use
  • Technical interruptions or system failures

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1 Mediation

Disputes shall first be addressed through mutual negotiation.

8.2 Arbitration

Unresolved disputes will be settled through binding arbitration in Ontario, Canada.

8.3 Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Canadian federal and provincial laws.

9. Service Termination

Real Estate Canada reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate user accounts
  • Modify or discontinue services
  • Refuse service without prior notice

We may update these terms periodically. Continued platform use after modifications constitutes acceptance of new terms.
